Do you want to work in a safe and well-functioning riding school where horse welfare, pedagogy, and community are at the center?

Lovisas Ponnystall is now looking for an engaged and pedagogical riding instructor who wants to help develop our riding school together with us starting from the autumn term 2026.

About the operation

Lovisas Ponnystall is a family-oriented and pedagogically focused riding school with an emphasis on quality riding instruction in small groups. The operation includes approximately 175 riding sessions per week and primarily targets children and young people at various levels.

With us, horse welfare, safety, and a positive learning environment are always in focus. We work to create a riding school where students develop both as riders and horse people.

The riding school is located in Degerfors municipality, about 13 minutes from Karlskoga and 35 minutes from Örebro, with good commuting opportunities.

The operation is run in collaboration with Knutsbols Hästsällskap.

The facility

Our facility is beautifully situated by Lake Möckeln, with fantastic opportunities for outdoor rides and varied training.

At the facility, there are among other things:

• Insulated riding hall 20 × 60 m
• Illuminated riding arena 20 × 60 m
• Smaller cross-country course
• Easy-to-work and functional stable
• Great opportunities for outdoor riding in beautiful nature

Job responsibilities

The position is varied and includes both teaching and work in the daily stable operations.

Job responsibilities include:

• Planning and conducting riding lessons
• Riding and training riding school ponies
• Daily horse and stable care
• Participation in planning and development of the riding school operations
• Contributing to a safe, well-organized, and positive riding school

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a riding instructor education (SRL I–II) or equivalent experience
• Has good horse experience and experience in riding school instruction
• Is pedagogical, structured, and responsible
• Has a professional and positive approach towards students and parents
• Has a strong commitment to horses, education, and equestrian sports
• Has a B driver's license (requirement)
• Can provide a criminal record extract
